Cindie Smart, Editor
Cindie is the editor of SA Kids. She has two girls, Lily, who has just stared school, and Isabel, 3, who enjoys playing in the mud, wrestling and annoying her big sister. Cindie loves to read and spend time playing with her kids. She’s passionate about the performing arts and has been taking her kids to live shows since they were born. “We are so lucky in SA to have companies like Patch, Windmill and the Adelaide Festival Centre which provide amazing children’s theatre,” she says.
Rachael Trott, Account Manager
Rachael is an advertising account manager of SA Kids. In her spare time, Rachael loves being with her family and cooking from her collection of cookbooks. Her favourite places to take her two daughters are West Beach in the summer and strawberry picking at Beerenberg. “The obvious understanding of family commitments and obligation takes a weight off my mind and is something that I value as part of my role. The flexibility and autonomy allows me to juggle (if I have to) and knowing that my family situation is respected, makes it nice to be able to work without pressure if something comes up. It’s a nice balance.”
Jo Bainbridge, Circulation Manager
Jo is our circulation manager, and looks after subscriptions, distribution and keeping the SA Kids team on track. She is a mother of three boys and also writes a column in SA Kids about her experiences raising teens. Jo loves music, history and collecting old books and in her spare time she researches her family history.
Jason Hamer, Creative Director
Jason is our talented creative director. He is an avid fan of English Premier League Football. Jason loves spending time with his wife and their two beautiful girls.
Naomi Giatas, Graphic Designer
Naomi is a graphic designer and is the youngest member of our SA Kids team. She is an avid Adelaide Crows supporter and spends her spare time watching AFL, making jewellery or checking out her Dream Team. Naomi also reluctantly admits she still watches Home and Away daily and collects unusual buttons and wine bottles.
Anna Kantilaftas, Advertising & Marketing Coordinator
Anna is the advertising & marketing coordinator of SA Kids and has a Bachelor of Journalism from UniSA. She is a supporter of the SANFL and the Adelaide Crows and in her spare she writes her blog, paints, reads and spends time with family and friends. Anna also loves all things Disney.
